While the physical space of the library is limited, players can still have fun role-playing the characters of their chosen heroes, explorers, and rogues using software such as Zoom and Fantasy Grounds.
The Alternative Role Playing Club explores different settings across fantasy, horror, pulp and science fiction. This month, players will select characters attending the fictional college of “East Texas University,” where strange and inexplicable occurrences are happening, and several students have gone missing!
In order to participate in this virtual role-playing game, teens (Ages 13-18) will need a computer with Windows 10 or OSX 10.8, the ability to install programs (Fantasy Grounds and Zoom), and a microphone/camera.
The first meeting of the Alternative Role Playing Club will take place on Wednesday, July 22, at 1:00 PM. Registration is required, but you can signup through our Online Calendar to receive the Zoom login information and instructions for how to use Fantasy Grounds.
