Pi Day is held every year on March 14th, but we’re excited to Celebrate Pi Day at the library on Friday, March 13, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, with a fun pop-up event in partnership with the Rochester Museum and Science Center (RMSC). Families and students are invited to stop by and explore hands-on math activities, quick demonstrations about the meaning of pi (π), and interesting facts about how this famous number connects to everyday life.
Participants can also enjoy small pie treats to take and go, tying the math theme to the celebration. This pop-up is designed to be a welcoming, drop-in experience where youth and families can engage with math in a creative and relaxed way while learning something new.
