There’s an alternative form of gardening for those who don’t quite have the time or energy to do all the digging and getting your clothes dirty. Straw Bale Gardening is a new and inventive method of growing plants on top of the ground. No soil is needed; it uses less water and requires less bending or time on your knees. Master Gardeners Laurie Maier and Melanie Popick will share their personal experiences with this method.
Straw Bale Gardening with Cornell Cooperative Extension will be held on Monday, April 22nd at 7 PM.
Registration is required, so please use our online calendar to register, or give us a call at 336-6060.
