Join Irondequoit Public Library, Lunchador Podcast Network, and Common Thread Podcast for a one-of-a-kind celebration of literature, music, food, and community at the Punk Rock Book Club! This unique, all-ages event brings together storytelling and subculture in a night that’s equal parts heart and punk rock.

The Unraveling: The Counsel of Crows is a middle grade fantasy novel for ages 8–14 that dives deep into a vivid post-human realm filled with adventure, mystery, and rebellion. This book will appeal to fans of the Redwall series, Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH, and Watership Down.

Meet authors Karl Buechner (legendary vocalist of Earth Crisis, Freya, and Apocalypse Tribe), Jeremy Mueller, and Keith Ward. The trio will lead a live reading, Q&A session, and book signing that’s sure to ignite the imagination of readers young and old alike. The evening will conclude with a live set by Coming Down.

Punk Rock Book Club and a Live Performance by Coming Down will be held on Saturday, August 30, at 5:00 PM.
