One of our favorite annual events is happening this Saturday, September 28, at RIT’s MAGIC Spell Studios.

Along with our friends from the Rochester Institute of Technology and ROC Game Dev, the Irondequoit Library is happy to once again co-sponsor the Rochester Game Festival!

The 2024 ROC Game Fest will open its doors at 11:00 AM for a Keynote Address from The Strong Museum of Play’s Andrew Borman, who will talk all about game preservation.

After that, the Show Floor will open at 12:00 PM and attendees will get the chance to try out new and upcoming video games and tabletop games from nearly 50 developers from across New York State.

There will also be a Cosplay Contest for kids 12 years old and under (with prizes), a workshop on how to make a game, a workshop on how to use Dungeons & Dragons in therapy, and a visit from The Poutine Truck.

Admission to the 2024 Rochester Game Festival is free. Please visit ROCGameFest.com for more information about this year’s event!
