The concert starts at 4:00 PM, but first, let us introduce you to the performers…

A Concert by the Scio Quartet from the Eastman School of Music
Friday, April 6, at 4:00 PM

The Scio Quartet is a Rochester-based chamber ensemble dedicated to the performance of both contemporary and classical works for saxophone quartet. Scio has earned first prize at various competitions, including the 2017 198th Army Band Solo and Ensemble Competition and the 2017 MTNA Eastern Regional Competition.

Scio is comprised of Uday Singh (soprano saxophone), Siobhan Plouffe (alto saxophone), Clancy Ellis (tenor saxophone), and Michael Matthews (baritone saxophone), all of whom are students at the Eastman School of Music. The quartet is coached by Nicki Roman, a member of the acclaimed Fuego Quartet.
