There’s still time to join next week’s Community Book Discussion for Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You by Ibram X. Kendi and Jason Reynolds. Sponsored by the Irondequoit Public Library, the Town of Irondequoit, and the East Irondequoit and West Irondequoit School Districts, the Community Book Discussion will be held online through Zoom on August 18th, from 6:00 PM until 8:30 PM.

If you’re interested in taking part in the Community Book Discussion for Stamped, please register through our Online Calendar to receive the login information.

You have the following options to obtain your copy of Stamped:

— If You’d Like to Borrow A Print Copy of Stamped (AND YOU ALREADY HAVE A LIBRARY CARD): Please place a hold on Stamped through the Library Catalog. You will be notified when your copy is available.

— If You’d Like to Borrow A Print Copy of Stamped (AND YOU DON’T HAVE A LIBRARY CARD): Please visit the library on Tuesdays or Thursdays between 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM, to pick up your copy of the book. Please bring your driver’s license, or other accepted photo ID, and proof of residency.

— If You’d Prefer a Digital Copy of Stamped: Copies are available to download through Overdrive as an ebook or an audiobook. Monroe County residents can access Overdrive with a regular Library Card or an MCLS E-Card. Visit the MCLS website to register for a free MCLS E-Card.
