Welcome to Irondequoit Public Library’s 2025 Summer Reading Program for Kids, Teens, and Adults!
Sponsored by the Friends of the Irondequoit Library and Summit Federal Credit Union, all patrons can participate from Monday, June 23, through Friday, August 22.
The Summer Reading Program is for everyone, from 0 to 100 and beyond! We want everyone to read, learn, be creative, and have fun this Summer!

HOW IT WORKS
1. Starting June 23rd, print a sheet of Reward Cards at home (COMING SOON) or pick one up at the library. Cut them out to use all summer.
2. As you complete activities, log them on a card.
3. Once you’ve logged five activities, bring your completed card to the library (or fill out the Online Form) for a prize!
RULES
— You can fill out up to eight cards between June 23rd and August 22nd.
— Activities must be completed between June 23rd and August 22nd.
— Only record valid activities. Valid activities are listed below.
— Any combination of activities is fine, including repeating activities.
ACTIVITY OPTIONS
Kids (Ages 0-8)
— The title of a book you’ve read.
— The name of a library program you’ve attended (don’t forget to check out our Event Calendar).
— A brief description of a creative activity (Ex: “Made a birthday card for my friend”).
— A brief description of a learning activity (Ex: “Learned to identify three different birdsongs”).
Tweens and Teens (Ages 9-18)
— The title of a book you’ve read.
— The name of a library program you’ve attended (don’t forget to check out our Event Calendar).
— A brief description of a creative activity (Ex: “Crafting with duct tape”).
— A brief description of a learning activity (Ex: “Learning to cook”).
Adults (Ages 18+)
— The title of a book you’ve read.
— The name of an author you’ve read this Summer that is new to you.
— The name of a book series you started this Summer that is new to you.
— The name of a library program you attended (don’t forget to check out our Event Calendar).
— A brief description of a creative activity (Ex: “Went to Painting with a Twist”, “Attempted Knitting”).
— A brief description of learning activity (Ex: “Started learning Spanish”, “Went to a museum”).
PRIZES
To claim your prize(s), bring your completed card(s) to the library. Don’t worry if you miss a week—you can turn in cards for the past weeks throughout the summer.

— Card 1: Turn in anytime between June 30 and August 22
— Card 2: Turn in anytime between July 7 and August 22
— Card 3: Turn in anytime between July 14 and August 22
— Card 4: Turn in anytime between July 21 and August 22
— Card 5: Turn in anytime between July 28 and August 22
— Card 6: Turn in anytime between August 4 and August 22
— Card 7: Turn in anytime between August 11 and August 22
— Card 8: Turn in anytime between August 18 and August 22
