We are helping support Irondequoit Girl Scouts by hosting a silent auction fundraiser for them.  Visit either library branch to see a list and pictures of the many items being auctioned.  Many of the items are donated by local merchants who support Girl Scouting and understand the great value Girl Scouting delivers to the community.  Bids can be placed at either library branch or online here.  Money raised will benefit all Girl Scout troops in Irondequoit comprised of over 340 girls.

Girl Scouting is open to girls in grades K-12 and adult volunteers.  In Girl Scouts, girls discover the fun, friendship, and power of girls together. Through a myriad of enriching experiences, such as field trips, sports skill-building clinics, community service projects, cultural exchanges, and environmental stewardships, girls grow courageous and strong. Girl Scouting helps girls develop their full individual potential; relate to others with increasing understanding, skill, and respect; develop values to guide their actions and provide the foundation for sound decision-making; and contribute to the improvement of society through their abilities, leadership skills, and cooperation with others.

Help us support this extremely worthy cause.  Bid high and bid often!!
