In observance of Memorial Day, the Irondequoit Public Library will be closed on May 28 (Saturday), May 29 (Sunday), and May 30 (Monday). Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, May 31.
The Town of Irondequoit has several events planned for the holiday, including the annual Memorial Day Parade on Sunday. The parade will begin at 3:00 PM, and marchers will travel along Titus Ave. from Irondequoit High School to the Town Hall.
On Monday, the Town will hold a Flag Raising at the Town Hall at 7:00 AM, followed by a special Memorial Service at Irondequoit Cemetery at 9:00 AM.
