Tune up your ukulele and your vocal chords and join ukes-ROC (pronounced “rock”) for a Ukulele Meet Up at the Irondequoit Library.
The Ukulele Meet Up is a casual jam session focused on songs from the 60s and 70s. Ukes-ROC is an accepting group, and if you encounter a new chord or have trouble with a transition, we’ll assist if we can. But please remember, this is a playing group, not a class.
If you’d like to join us for the Ukulele Meet Up, you’ll need to bring a ukulele, as well as a tuner, and a music stand (if you have them). Projected music and/or printed copies will be shared.
The group will meet on the second and fourth Fridays of every month from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM. No registration is required and the next Ukulele Meet Up will happen on Friday, May 26.
