The Brooklyn Robot Foundry offers STEAM classes all over the country from their base in Brooklyn, NY. Their goal is to encourage a life full of exploration, problem-solving, and imagination through the fun of STEAM learning.

Robot Coders is the ultimate combination of hands-on building, creativity, and programming. Teens (ages 12-18) will work in small groups to build robots, learn how to integrate programming components like sensors and servos as they build, and how to control their robots using block coding.

This month, we’ll be making smart Applause-O-Meter robots that we’ll program to react to different volumes of noise. No previous building or coding experience is necessary.

Robot Coders will be held on Friday, May 9, at 3:30 PM. If you’d like to attend this program, please register now through our Event Calendar.

Robot Coders was paid for with funds from the American Rescue Plan Act.
