The Brooklyn Robot Foundry offers STEAM classes all over the country from their base in Brooklyn, NY. Their goal is to encourage a life full of exploration, problem-solving, and imagination through the fun of STEAM learning.
Robot Coders is the ultimate combination of hands-on building, creativity, and programming. Working in small groups, teens (ages 12-18) will learn how to build robots, integrate programming components like sensors and servos, and control their robots using block coding.
This month, we’ll be making a Smart Theremin that uses magnetic field instead of physical contact. A theremin is a musical instrument and we’re going to make one that uses sensors! No previous building or coding experience is necessary.
Robot Coders will be held on Friday, June 13, at 3:30 PM. If you’d like to attend this program, please register now through our Event Calendar.
Robot Coders was paid for with funds from the American Rescue Plan Act.
