Apart from money and physical heirlooms, what do you want to give your loved ones so they will remember, appreciate, and learn from you for generations to come?

A staff member from Writers & Books will join us at the library on Saturday, January 24, at 10:00 AM for Hold On To This for Me: A Joe Flaherty Legacy Writing Workshop.

In our Legacy Writing Workshops, attendees will write letters, stories, short nonfiction pieces, and poems that share the depth and breadth of the life you’ve lived, as well as the dreams and ambitions you still wish to achieve. Your writing will bring you closer to others, connect you to past and future generations, and also generate meaningful, even surprising, self-revelation. So bring a friend, a pen, and a notebook, and get ready to express what you hold most dear!

No prior creative writing experience is necessary, but if you’d like to attend this workshop, please register now through our Online Calendar.

Funding for this program was provided by Legislative Initiative Funding from State Senator Samra Brouk.
