Join us at the library for some Halloween Quilting and learn how to create a custom Mug Rug with fiber artist Haley Geier!
This class will teach students the basics of quilting and how to make a half-square triangle, a basic quilt block. From these blocks, students will sew together their quilt sandwich and leave with one or two completed Mug Rugs, as well as inspiration for the start of their own quilt.
This class will require use of a sewing machine. Several sewing machines will be provided for participants to share, but feel free to bring your own if you’re able.
Halloween Quilting with Haley Geier will be held on Saturday, October 31, at 2:00 PM. If you’d like to attend, please register now through our Event Calendar.
