The Rochester Parkinson Network will welcome Drs. Andrew Wensel and Karlo Lizarraga to the library in November to present a high-level overview of deep brain stimulation.
Andrew Wensel is a native of Rochester, NY who specializes in spine surgery (including trauma, minimally invasive techniques for degenerative disease and tumor), functional neurosurgery (deep brain stimulation for Parkinson’s disease, dystonia, and tremor, as well as epilepsy), stereotactic surgery and robot-assisted surgery.
Karlo Lizarraga is a board-certified neurologist and clinical neurophysiologist with additional training in movement disorders, motor physiology and neuromodulation.
