Reem Faruqi, the author of Lailah’s Lunchbox and Unsettled, will join us (via Zoom) on Sunday, September 24, at 2:00 PM. She’ll read aloud from one of her bestselling books as part of Mighty Storytime, and share with us some special behind-the-scenes information about the creation of the book.
We’ll also have a read-aloud of our own, as well as snacks and refreshments before we are joined virtually by our special guest author.
If you’re interested in attending Mighty Storytime, you can do join us at the library and watch Reem on the big screen, or you can view the program at home through Zoom or Facebook Live. Please register now through our Event Calendar, and participants who choose the online option will receive an email with the login information for Zoom before the storytime begins.
Mighty Storytime is brought to you in part by the Mighty Muslim Mountains Youth Program, a Rochester-based youth program that promotes healthy environments for healthy character development of youth.
An ASL interpreter will also be available at the library for Mighty Storytime.
