Walk Bike Irondequoit (an initiative of Color Irondequoit Green) and Reconnect Rochester will be joining forces for an upcoming Film Screening and Panel Discussion at the library about the personal and societal rewards when more people ride bikes.

Why do we bike? Whether to save money, reduce your carbon footprint, or live a longer and healthier life, using a bike can enrich your life and bring you joy. For any town, biking can be a vehicle to build community, fight climate change, support the local economy, and attract a new generation of young people.

The panel discussion will include representatives from Reconnect Rochester and Walk Bike Irondequoit, as well as elected officials from the Town of Irondequoit.

We hope you’ll join us to reflect on Why We Bike, and support our town becoming a more bicycle-friendly community.

The Walk Bike Irondequoit + Reconnect Rochester Film Screening and Panel Discussion will be held on Saturday, April 27, at 1:00 PM. It’s suitable for community members of all ages, and no registration is required to attend.
